Quarter Celtic Brewpub

Today's Geezer lunch was at the Quarter Celtic Brewpub in Albuquerque.  The brewpub is at the corner of Lomas and San Mateo, lower level, access from Lomas.

Between the brewery machinery, the soccer game on the big screens, and the acoustics, the night noise level was giving me a headache.

I had the 1/3 pound burger with cheddar and bacon.  The burger in on a pretzel bun. Had the side of fries.  The menu says that they cook burgers to Medium-Well.  Mine was closer to "well" as there was no pink in the center of the patty.  Their portion of french fries were much more than most locations.  The good thing was that they were fried perfect to my taste - golden brown, crispy with soft center.

I washed down my food with 2 pints of their "Crimson Lass" red (Irish) ale.  While not remarkable, it was a decent tasting ale.

For record purposes, I will start attempting to add a photo of the brewery/brewpub in the blog posting.
